1) When and where will the shows take place?
New date: July 3 - 5, 2020 (Friday – Sunday)
New venue: Hongqiao National Exhibition Center (NECC), Shanghai
Why does the show date include a weekend? Do you expect any impact on visitor numbers resulting from this?
This is a very special situation for the Chinese economy. More than 300 shows have been postponed in China. All shows should be rescheduled. We believe the current date is a proper time slot after analyzing all pros and cons. According to preliminary visitor surveys in China, weekend show dates have only limited impact on visitor numbers. More marketing activities as well as client invitations are expected to support the visitor promotion.
2) Will electronica China, productronica China, LASER World of PHOTONICS CHINA and Vision China 2020 be co-located?
Yes, the shows will be collocated.
3) Is a new application needed?
No. According to the Terms of Participation annexed to the Application Form as signed off by you earlier, your participation in the above postponed shows will continue to be deemed as accepted by us and binding. We expect to send you the assigned booth allocation in due course (until the end of March as currently planned). As per the Terms of Participation and our routine practice, please kindly confirm your booth number.
4) Can we keep our booth allocation?
The halls of NECC are different from SNIEC. We will try to keep the original position and minimize changes in relative position.
5) Can we keep our booth space?
Yes.
6) Will we get a new booth number?
Yes.
7) When is set-up and dismantling planned?
The dates of setting up and dismantling shall be subject to the updated Exhibitor Manual, which will be sent to you separately.
8) Can we keep our orders in the exhibitor center (e.g. electricity)?
Yes. All orders will be transferred. For more details please check the updated Exhibitor Manual.
9) Until when can we decide and confirm our new booth allocation?
The first re-allocation among current exhibitors will start immediately and will last until end of March. Current exhibitors can still make a decision later, but space will be opened also to new exhibitors from April onwards.
10) Can the exhibitors and visitors reach the venue easily?
NECC offers a good infrastructure including a connection to metro station, Hongqiao airport (20 mins by taxi) and Hongqiao railway station (15 mins by metro). It is very convenient for visitors from neighbor provinces, especially from Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces.
11) Which hotels/airport/transportation are around NECC?
Hongqiao airport and Hongqiao railway station are situated close to the venue. Intercontinental Shanghai Hongqiao NECC has direct access to NECC. A new hotel list will be released in March.
12) What kind of safety measures will be implemented onsite?
